Guest Ratings & Reviews
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with its charming location nestled in a forest of giant trees with a half-abandoned narrow gauge railway. The rooms were cozy and offered a beautiful view, although the curtains could use some attention. The service was satisfactory, especially the laundry service. The dining experience was mediocre with pre-wrapped muffins and weak coffee, but the Colombian coffee was a redeeming quality. The facilities were decent but lacked any exceptional features.
The hotel boasts a beautiful view from the rooms with 2 queen beds, though the curtains dominate the scenery a bit. Service is attentive, and a laundry facility adds convenience. Nestled in a forest of giant trees with a half-abandoned narrow gauge railway nearby, the location offers a unique charm near Nevada City's downtown area. Dining features pre-wrapped muffins and weak coffee but includes laksa for variety. Overall, a comfortable stay with minor drawbacks.
